Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Does this sound like teething to you?

My LO is almost 10 months.  He has never really been bothered by teething, but this all seems to be pointing to teething...

Yesterday, he started with a low grade fever - it started at 100 and got up to 101.8.  Right before bed it was 100.4.  This morning before I left for work, it was 99.4.  My mom did give him ibuprofen for teething pain in the event it was that.

He hasn't been eating as much as he usually does and he is so-so with his bottles, even today with a lower temperature.  He had a little bit of a clear runny nose yesterday a couple times.  He did OK overnight.  He didn't take his night bottle before bed so he woke up about 9 and wanted it.  He slept so-so the rest of the night, occassionally waking up and talking and going back to sleep soon after and we didn't have to go in there.

His mood is OK - laughing and playing, but then he'll get quiet and lay down and just kind of be mopey and he gets irritable and can't quite stay up as long as he usually does before his next nap, but he is napping well.

The nurse at his pedi's office seemed to think it was teething.  Since he has no other symptoms, but I was surprised since he's never been bothered by it before...has your LO been affected in this way?

I forgot to mention, his two naps yesterday were terrible! I tried to get him to go down a third time, too, but he wouldn't so we was in bed at 5:30!!!!  His overnight sleep was OK, considering.  I wonder if he's starting a cold, too, hence the extra sleep.  His a.m. nap is usually only about an hour and today my mom said it was two hours!
