Scary moment last night

DH took Charlotte to change her last night while I was finishing up some laundry.  I had just taken the clothes out of the dryer when DH started screaming for me to come quick, something was wrong.  Miss C had coughed once, then stopped breathing.  DH acted quick and turned her on her stomach and popped her on the back.  She gasped and spit up everywhere.  The whole thing lasted less than 20 seconds, but was long enough to scare us to death. 

DH called the Dr. last night, and while they think she is fine and may just have some reflux issues when lying flat, they want to see her today just to check on her.  The also wanted her to sleep mostly inclined last night just in case, so she and I slept sitting up on the couch. 

I don't think DH or I have ever been so scared.  She seems fine now, but I'm glad we are taking her in this afternoon.

Wow that is scary!  I'm glad your DH acted quickly and I hope everything is okay at the doctor today!

wow! omg! ((hugs)) i'm so glad everything is well. my m/w told us to position ds on his side when sleeping so that if he spits up he won't choke on it. and that's worked for us, esp since ds frequently spits up. i can only imagine how scared you both were!

Omg! That's scary. So glad your dh acted fast and knew what to do. We prop d's up on his side to sleep. We use a sleep positioner to ensure he stays on his side and that has helped a lot.

Oh, wow!  I would have lost it!!  It is such a good thing that your DH thought quickly.

I'll be keeping y'all in my prayers today, and be sure to let us know what the doctor says,
