Dh and I had some friends over on Saturday.  We were all sitting around talking and Alex was on the floor doing puzzles.  We got into a conversation about one friend's brother, Thomas, and his rocky marriage.

It was a pretty lengthy conversation and we were all saying how sad his situation is.  Alex never hinted that he was listening at all.  Then he looked up and said SO seriously "Hey guys, wait... Are we talking about a real person Thomas or Thomas the train???" 

LOL!  He seemed so concerned, too!
