We are planning to use cloth wipes and I'd like to keep a stash of warm, moist wipes near our diaper changing station (which we have yet to figure out). I've heard that some people just run a cloth wipe under warm water before each diaper change, but I think I'd like something more ready-to-use. So what do you do?

Re: POLL: Cloth Wipes Warmer...Yay or Nay?
i found that when she was a newborn, it didn't matter if the wipes were warm or not, she'd cry when i was changing her b/c the whole world around her was so different and she was still adjusting....i used to wet a wipe in warm water in the sink and then take it into the nursery before changing her but soon figured out it didn't matter if it was warm or not
then when she was older it didn't really seem like she minded the not-warm wipes. now that she is using the potty some of the time, i keep a stack of wipes on the toilet tank and i'll reach over and wet them under warm water before wiping her.....but, i find that even then, the wipes cool off and aren't even that warm by the time i wipe her.
i know some babies really do prefer warm wipes, so it may just be something that you have to wait and see it is not a must have right away, though, so you could always get out and buy one later if need be

Even if baby prefers warm wipes at first, you can manage without one. As a newborn, A much preferred a warm water wipe, so we had a small dish that we'd fill with warm tap water before a change. After a while, though, I got lazy and used room temp water (still in the dish) and he got used to it. Now we just use a spray bottle. The water is never cold in our house since we have no A/C. In fact, sometimes the first squirts out of the bottle are grossly warm!
I would wait to see how it goes without one. And like Jaime said, some babies will holler either way!
