  • Dd- induction started on Friday mornings at 6:30... she was born Sunday morning a little after 1am. that's 0-delivery...it was early for pree.  (induction started at 36 1/2wks)... if you count from start of induction, over 42hrs... if you could from when they broke my water and I got my epi, 6hrs.... I felt miserable for weeks and the l&d is a big fog.  thanks to mag.

Ds- induction started 8:30 am, born a little after 8pm. 2-3cm to delivery.  I had started some early labor on my own over the prev week though.   pree again. so induction again.  38wk ... from water broken to delivery hour or hour and a half. ?

  • Mine was 12.5 hours. I went into labor about midnight on the 24th and he was born at 12:50 pm!
  • it will not let me click.....

4 hours - from start of water broken to when he popped out.

  • I was induced with DD#1, but it was 10 hours from when they started pitocin to her coming out and less than 4 hours from when I got to 4cm and they broke my water.  DD#2 was less than 4 hours from when I was officially admitted (again at about 4cm).  I was there for a few hours before that for monitoring but they were thinking of sending me home.  DS was less than an hour from when I was admitted (again they tried to send me home but CNM told them to let me stay the night if I wanted).  I wasn't even officially admitted when he popped out.
  • I woke up at 2:15 am as things were starting to happen.  Saw my midwife briefly at 5 am.  Laboured at home till midnight.  (Midwife arrived around 10 pm.)  Then we went to the hospital.  Emergency C at 4:30 am.  (boo.)

    So 26.25 hours.

  • 12 hours from arriving to be induced @41 weeks to delivery. But only 4 hours after they broke my water.
  • Wow we have some fast labors in here!

I was ~5 hours both times.

  • I have never been in labor.  I had 2 scheduled c-sections.  With DD I had to have a scheduled c-section because of complications, and then I chose to have another scheduled c-section with DS (plus doctor recommended because only 10 months between pregnancies).  So, I have 2 babies and I have no idea what a labor pain is.  Kind of bittersweet.

This is me as well.  DS and DD were both scheduled c-sections.  They were both breech.  I've never felt a contraction.

  • Both my labors were 25 hours long.  But neither labor got exciting until about 21 hours into it.  DH and I got haircuts, went out to lunch, went for a walk, returned some maternity clothes, all while I was gently laboring along, with ctx about 10 minutes apart.

Then, both times, about 20 to 21 hours into it, things got intense, we went to the hospital, got the epidural, the baby was born, and we were done.

So, although I voted for 25 to 30 hours, I could probably equally claim 0-5 hours.
