i'm making my registry and i've been so busy researching pregnancy/labor/newborns i haven't had time to research this stuff..

 

has anyone used the arm and hammer diaper pail ?

I know you're supposed to use their bags with it but i was wondering if i can use different ones?

For cloth diapers you either want just a plain trash can with a lid and pail liner or a large hanging wet bag. You wouldn't want a diaper pail that wraps each diaper seperately because it would a huge (and gross) pain to unwrap each one before throwing them in the wash.

With a pail liner or wet bag you just dump all the contents in the washer and then throw your liner/bag in there too.

so diaper pails wrap the diapers separately? darn. wish they'd give a better description haha.

Well I know that's how the diaper genie does it, I'm not 100% sure about the A&H one. I could be wrong.

Yeah thats not what you want for cloth diapers.  I use this trash can (in white):

I just dump the diapers in the wash and then toss in the pail liner and put a fresh one in the can.
