I really need some new ideas. I usually drink water or lemonade, but lemonade's a no-no with the reflux I'm having and water is making me feel extra nauseous. I'd love to have some sangria and of course that's out of the question! Thanks!
In the mornings I drink Krakus, it's a coffee sub made with barley, rye, chicory and beet root. (it used to be called Inka, if any of you have heard of it) It has that coffee bitterness to it that I like. I also drink herbal teas, sometimes combined with nettle tea as a source of Iron. soda water with or without ribena (a really tasty black currant syrup) are also favourites. I love apple cider too, but we don't get it that often.
Hey, I'm lurking from 2nd tri. I still have morning sickness and I also can't handle straight water most of the time. If I buy something while I'm out I'll usually get Propel or Gatoraid. I've noticed that the flavor helps me to keep it down.
My nurse told me to drink anything that isn't caffeinated and doesn't have carbonation if I can't keep water down.

I've been so bored with my beverage options... I still have 1 cup of coffee in the AM (my favorite) otherwise I've been drinking water, La Croix when I want carbonation, Ginger Ale when feeling icky (but worry about the sugar), OJ, and Lo Cal Gatorade. To help with calcium/nutrients I make smoothies (1 fresh peach, 6 strawberries, 1 banana and 1/2 - 3/4 cup of milk - blend, add ice, blend again and drink) - pretty yummy and filling.
Re: What are you drinking these days?
My sisters seem to keep forgetting that I'm pregnant again, and I was offered everything alcoholic when we visited my other sister's new house. Grr!!
I drink a lot of soy milk. Apple juice. And ginger ale..
Mmm..that reminds me that the fair is coming up! Fresh-milled apple cider, right there at the fair!
My daily round of beverages include:
Water, CF Coke, Pink juicy juice, skim milk, red kool aid, orange juice and pink lemonaid =P
Just be sure that it's pasturized. I believe unpasturized apple cider is a no-no (add it to the list, right??
)
Chocolate milk. I may have also bought a bottle of Vino Verde, cause I want just a little sip. Yeah, I'm that lady. But it's just a sip I swear.
What else has been good.....pineapple juice cut 50% with water, water with cucumber slices or lemon slices.
