Spotting after IVF

Hello Ladies,

I am a regular poster on the IF board, but I had a question regarding brown spotting after my IVF.

I had a 3 day transfer on Aug 26th and early morning (1am) Friday Sept 3rd I began spotting brown. Within the last 3 days of on/off spotting I have spotted pink/red only twice- once on Aug 26th and once today Sept 5th.  My beta is tomorrow, but this is killing me.

My question... did anyone have implantation bleeding? If so, how long did it last? According to the chart I have I started spotting around the time implantation should be in its completion stage.   I have searched on the net and it says it should last about 2 days. I am trying to stay positive, but everytime i see the spotting I am crushed.

I appreciate any advice.

I spotted 5dpt...and a little more around the time AF was due.. it stopped.

i spotted for 3 days around the time of my beta.....then had more spotting around 7-8 weeks......and even some in the 2nd tri!

Hi hon

I had spotting from about 10dp3dt until 14dp3dt. After my first beta the spotting tapered off. I don't think it was implantation spotting though. When I asked my nurse about it she said that about half of her IVF patients have spotting early on.

I had spotting at 5dp5dt that showed up in the evening on my pad as brown but was red/pink on the toilet paper. I think I had a little more later that night and again in the am, but that was it before beta which was 10dpt. I also had about 4 or 5 episodes of spotting in the first few weeks also. Hang in there and GL!
