How often do you (did you) nurse your 4-5 week old?

I meant to ask James' pedi this but I forgot...We aren't supposed to be still aiming for 10-12 at this age are we? Isn't is more like 8-9 now? He is sleeping longer at night which essentially is cutting out a feeding or two.

mine was nursing about 10 times a day at that point.

We go from 6-9 as a range.

We were probably nursing 9-10 times a day on average.  I always nursed on demand, never schedule.  He went about every 2 hours from 7am to 4pm and then clusterfed in the evenings, and woke once or twice a night.
