extra skin

Hello ladies,

 I am 8 months PP, have lost all the baby weight, and am back in all my pre preg clothes.  However, despite any amount of situps or other exercises, I still have extra skin around my abdomen.  Is there ANYTHING I can do to get rid of it?  Its not fat, just loose skin?  Ayudame!

  • Besides a tummy tuck, I don't think there is anything.  You have lost the weight, toned the muscles and the balloon is deflated....  I really won't worry too much unless you are finished having kids.

  • I feel your pain!  If its just lose skin, there really isn't much you can do.

  • I'm in the same boat.  7 month pp.  i'm hoping the skin will kind of slowly go back to normal after another 6 to 12 months.  i plan to have 1 more baby, and luckily i'm already 34 so my days of prancing around in a bikini are pretty much over.  i don't see any pool/boat parties in my future!  :-)  Of course I still want a tight abdomen, but if all else fails I don't think at my age I'll resort to surgery.  I'm just trying to limit white carbs and wear shirts that flatter my new shape.  Hopefully people are looking more at my baby than my bulge.  :-)
