DS has chicken pox :( Need any tips !!!

We knew they were coming since my niece had them about 2 weeks ago and we were over playing the day before they came out on her.

But poor DS was up allll night with a fever, runny nose, and Im sure he's itchy although he cant tell us

Any tips mama's for helping him be more comfortable at night???  We did an oatmeal bath and put Calimine lotion on the pox, and of course Advil, but he still seemed to be so miserable

Hydrocortisone cream is safe for them, ya might try that too. Other than tylenol/motrin and oatmeal baths...I don't think there's much else you can do.

Oh wow! The first dose of the vaccine in the US is between 12-15 months.. My DD1 never got it,  and is now vaccinated.  I honestly haven't met any moms with kids that have had chicken pox.. it was common back when I was a kid. 

I don't think there is much that can be done besides what you are already doing.  Poor thing

We get them the same age here. My niece got them even though she had the vaccine Shes only 16 mo old .

Just a fluke thing. I feel so bad for DS
