update: home from l&d :)

I'm back home.  It wasn't a very busy day in triage so it didn't take as long as expected...always a good thing.  Cervix is still only fingertip dilated and thick which means that all the contractions I am having are more of a nuisance than anything else.  They don't seem to be progressing me at all right now.  OB is still a bit concerned though because I am not to the 34 week mark yet so he went ahead and gave me my first round of steroids for lung maturity.  I go back tomorrow for my second.  I know I was venting earlier about going to the hospital but I am so glad that I went.  I have the peace of mind that my cervix is still mostly closed and we are stacking the deck with the steroids for lungs just in case.  All good things!

Glad you're ok.  It sounds like they are taking good care to make sure the babies stay in a bit longer!
