ultrasound question

if you've had an ultrasound done between 5w4d and 6w, were you able to see the heartbeat? and was the baby able to be seen inside your sac? i'm scared to not see anything.

You should probably see a sac at least (I did with my son at 5 weeks 3 days). This early every day makes a difference, so if you ovulated later in your cycle you may not see much, but it certainly doesn't mean anything is wrong.

i didnt temp or use OPKs. but using charts and stuff i calculated the 13th as my O date. and mid day on the 13th i got my O pains like usual. and they lasted into early morning the 14th. i hope i'm close enough to the 6w mark like i'm thinking.

this is all "technical" if you are on exactly with the dates you should be. at 4 weeks 5 days you should be able to see a sac on internal ultrasound. then at 5 weeks 6 days you should be able to see the heartbeat. now the heartbeat will be small and hard to pick up. there should be the yok sac and fetal pole there as well. now that being said it is hard to know if you didn't o late or implant late. good luck!

we saw a sac and nothing in it at 5w3d.  at 6w2d, the yolk sac, fetal pole, and heartbeat were present.

had an ultrasound at 6 weeks exactly and saw the sac a jelly bean of a baby and a great heartbeat.

at 5w4d, we saw a sac and a tiny fetal pole, but no HB yet. at 8w1d, all was perfect. dont worry if you didnt see the HB -- it was probably just too small, and a couple days makes a huge difference.

if there was a sac and a yolk sac, id say you're good so far.

Hi there! I was 5w6d in my siggy pic. My RE said I was measuring at about 5.5 weeks. I was about to see a very faint heartbeart in baby B and even fainter in baby A. It was almost like they were just starting to beat. Good luck!

We saw the gestational and yolk sacs at just 5 weeks, and the HB at 6 weeks exactly.

I went last monday and I was a little over 6w...and all I saw was the sac...but the tech said the sac measured about 6w or so and she saw the yolk sac too...but I go thurs for another Ultrasound to date the pregnancy.

You should atleast see the sac..GL
