Hey i saw that you said you had an accident and bought the same car seat. Did you submit it to the insurance co? When we had ours we got a replacement from the car seat manufacturer and then the insurance company said if we bought one to send the bill to them for a reimbursement check.

Yup.  We took a pic of the original one and sent it in with the receipt of the new one.  The insurance company of the girl that hit us was even planning to reimburse us if our company didn't.
