DH took today off

The good news: he got some stuff done around the house, and watched S for a while

The bad news: he was in my way part of the day, and he thinks S is fine in her crib indefinitely until she starts crying.

    Why do guys have the wait until they start crying approach? 

    The man took today off as well but didn't do anything around the house.

    Mine was off too but didn't do anything around the house.  I hate the wait until they cry method also he never hears her cry.  I call BS.
