DS has gone to bed for naps and night time like a breeze for many
months. The last two days he's cried and fussed every time. He didn't
take but about 1 hour nap this morning and 30 min this afternoon. He
woke up every two hours last night as well. What gives? He is teething,
but I give him Motrin before naps and at bedtime (which normally does
the trick) He's perfectly happy during the day while playing. Is it time
to switch to one nap or is something else going on?
Re: RP: Sleep Regression. What gives?
I'm going through the same thing right now. DD has 4 teeth and working on 2 more! I took her to the docs thinking something might be wrong and the doc thought DD might still be hungry at night. Tonight right before bed I offered DD a bowl of cereal and she ate the entire thing
which means I have been putting her to bed hungry
Hey - question - how many nights/days in a row have you given DS Motrin? I feel like I am always giving DD Tyelnol since she is always teething!
We are just FINALLY coming out of a sleep regression. The last few nights she has actually put herself to sleep and only woken up 1-2 times.
I hear her stir still on the monitor all night so I know shes restless but she puts herself back down now again.
I think that she is hitting some huge milestones. She said her first two words over the course of this sleep regression. My mom also mentioned that this is about the time when babies REM cycles start to shift a bit. So they are up thinking about cognative things instead of sleeping and then as a bonus they are having some physical sleep stuff going on.
Hopefully it is quick for you guys!!
