I hope no one noticed...

I could not take it anymore.. I was nodding off at my desk and the sound of the rain outside was totally making me sleepier.

So, I went to my car, drove it across the parking lot...and slept. Even though it was only a half hour, it felt pretty darn good! Hopefully the rain kept most people in the office for lunch, and if not, I think I was far enough away from my building door...

Anyone else have interesting nap places?

I hope you don't mind if I post.  When I get tired, usually at lunchtime, I shut my office door and curl up on a blanket and sleep on my floor.

I don't have a place, but have been considering putting a couch in my office for this very reason.

i work nights, so around 3 or 4, I take my 30 min break in one of the empty rooms (we close off an area of the er after 2 am)  I am friendly with the house keeper so she always scrubs it down really well for me before hand.

I've come really close to asking to use one of the empty u/s rooms at work. Fortunately I get off at 4 so I usually come home and take at least a 30 min nap if not longer.

Sometimes I'll hide out in the bathroom for 15 minutes...but only if the big stall is open that way no one can see my feet. LoL

I love napping...I wish the US was like Spain and we could all take siestas.
