Is a progesterone level of 29 normal for early pg?

I had my blood draw and got first hcg level back (well, don't have actual number but they seemed pleased)--going for second draw today.  But they said progesterone level was 29 and they seemed happy.  I could have sworn with DS it was much lower than that though. 

Ok--I'm just going to be happy that the nurses sounded upbeat on the message they left.  LOL.

 On to second blood draw!!!!  Stick baby stick!

my p4 blooddraw with both my pregnancies came back at 21 (while on 400mg of supps daily)

That's great! Last check mine was 23 and that's with a daily supplement. My doc said they like to see it above 20. Although, when I googled it the consensus was that anywhere from 9-40 was "normal."

My first beta (at 11dp5dt or 16pdo) my P4 was 28 and they were happy with that, so I was too!

Anything above 20 is great.  Mine was 42 on Monday and my dr said that's great!

Mine was 129 on Monday (??!)  but I think that's because of my clomid response.  Hope that's not too high.....

Wowsa!  I'm going to assume you have multiples in there.  That is really high.  What was your hcg?

My heart just skipped a beat.   Does high Progesterone indicate multiples?  My HCG was 122 (15DPO).  I am sitting by the phone waiting for them to call me with today's results.     I did ovulate three follies this cycle - but my first clomid cycle (which did not result in pregnancy) i had equally high progesterone levels from ovulation.

Question about betas: Do they normally give you your # when you get your b/w results? Because my doctor's office didn't but they also didn't mention needing more or anything.  Do you think that means they were good?

Nope, it doesn't. High HcG doesn't really indicated multiples either....well, not always...

some offices probably don't hand them out because most people don't know what they mean. if you asked i'm sure they'd tell you. one number doesn't tell you much more than if you are pg or not. it's a series of tests and their numbers that can predict a growing fetus.

29 is great. dont worry about it being higher than last time -- worry if its under 10.
