IUI Women come in - repost

Hi Ladies

My husband and I are scheduled to do an IUI w/ 50 mg of Clomid and Trigger in Oct. We have one more natural cycle before the IUI. I was just wondering if any of your BFP was from an IUI and if so what # (IUI#2, IUI#4, etc)

My RE said the success rate isnt that high so I just wanted to hear some hopeful stories to make me feel better.

About Me: 29, DH:28, S/A Normal, u/s Normal, Bloodwork Normal, HSG both open and clear. 38-45 day cycles so slight delayed ovulation.

I have had two BFPs from IUI (100mg Follistim + Trigger).  And I'm 2 for 2 - only did two IUIs and got BFPs both times.  I'm not sure why we have such good luck with IUI but I'm thrilled.

I got pregnant my first IUI/injection cycle.  It took 3 weeks of injections to get me to ovulate (and was my only real, good ovulation ever), so the IUI was on CD 25.  DH had good count and motility, but somewhat poor morphology.

I was lucky to get a BFP with my very first IUI.  However, it took a little while for my body to respond to the meds.  I finally responded with 200 mg of Clomid + Ovidrel injection.  I had (1) 30 mm follicle and my husband had a 15 million post wash sperm count.

iui #3 worked for me but it was my first with injectables. Taking clomid or femara just didnt work for me.

IUI worked for me using injectables. You can see the difficulty we had even getting to IUI in my siggy. Oral meds produced super poor (1 follicles but <4 lining or no response. My first IUI with injectables was with lupron and actually caused over stim (75 units gonal-f = 15 follicles and mild OHSS). IUI #2 & #3 actually produced BFP, but #2 ended in m/c.  What finally worked was an antagonist/FSH combination (37.5 the first time (1 follicle) and 37.5 with a slow increase to 150 the second time (3 follicles)) I feel very lucky as based my dx the RE gave us % chance of this working. IUI #2 worked for us.  I was convinced it wasn't going to work and we had my IVF consultation while I was still on the table, so you never know!

We did Lupron, Repronex, and an ovidrel trigger.  It all depends on how well you respond to the meds, lots of women do beautifully on Clomid, I just wasn't one of them.

I had success with iui but mc'd a few times. I then did 2 ivf's. They didn't work but my next iui did. GL!

I got a BFP our first IUI. I had one mature follie as a result of 9 days of Puregon (FSH). Our post wash count was really good though.

I just got my BFP yesterday from IUI #1.

I did 50mg Clomid, 75 Gonal-F, 1500 Metformin, Ovidrel, and Prometrium.

Husband has 25 million post wash. I had 1 follie at 22mm and 2 at 18mm.

Beta #1 yesterday was at 181. I'm scheduled for Beta #2 on Tuesday.

Hi!  I got my bfp on our second IUI. I was on 100mg of clomid and also did a trigger shot, and progesterone supplements after the IUI. 

I'm 28 and have somewhat irregular ovulation and DH(39) has primary testicular failure (no sperm). We used donor sperm and now I'm 22 weeks pregnant. It can happen!! Good luck!
