I had an ice cream sandwich

for breakfast this morning.

Before you judge--

I went into the Wag-A-Bag by my house to get myself a fountain soda.  Since I'm still only drinking one a day, it might as well be the best I can get- cans don't cut it.

The lady at the register was all too peppy and said, "Oh we changed our promotion with the sodas, you get a FREEEEE ice cream sandwich!"

I didn't know there were any promotions to begin with ever, nor did I care--I just wanted my Coke, but anyway, I stammered, "Oh, um, it's ok."

She said, "No please, go grab one.  It's FREEEE!  They are over there in the freezer."

"Um ok."  So I go grab my ice cream sandwich, thinking it would make a nice snack for lunch.

So off I go, on my merry way to work.  Then I hit traffic.  I didn't want ice cream sandwich all over my car, and I didn't want it to go to waste.

I decided to eat it, I didn't know what else to do.

It was pretty good.

I would have done the same thing! And that breakfast sounds much more appealing than my protein shake.

Definitely understandable. You had no choice in that situation. I would've ate it on my way to the car before I even hit traffic.

Perfectly acceptable under those circumstances.  Actually I can't think of any circumstances where its not acceptable.
