spotting after early u/s...

normal, right?  It's brown and no cramps...and baby looked perfect yesterday.  Seeing anything brown/red/pink makes me nervous....wasn't sure if it's just irritation from the u/s wand or what.

Yes, totally normal!   Anytime they go poking around in there you always have a chance of spotting afterwards.

With both of my pregnancies I spotted after my first appt where I had a pap and u/s.  They just irritate the cervix and cause a little spotting.  If it continues, gets worse or accompanied by heavy cramping, I'd be concerned, but not right now.  Take comfort in your good report yesterday.

Yup. Normal. My first u/s was Friday and I had some spotting Saturday morning.

Yes, completely normal! I had the same after my exam & ultrasound. It's because our cervixes are more friable & susceptible to bleeding, now that we are pregnant. My Dr. told me to expect it! She told me that unless you are having severe cramps and a menstrual-like flow, some spotting is no cause for concern. Congrats on the good ultrasound! It is such a wonderful feeling.
