We had a hard time thinking about how to do a gender neutral nursery. I didn't want a theme and I didn't want it to look too cutesy. We ended up finding this fabric and it became the starting point for the whole room

These are both of our cribs.  Both are fully set up and our glider (a Best chair) just came in and we are hopefully going to pick it up soon!  It is green with brown polka dots and a brown ottoman.

I have nursery furniture picked but it is very feminine so I'm waiting for another u/s before I order it

Updates and/or milestones thisweek: Excited about the 10 week mark tomorrow. Yesterday I tried on ALL my clothes and I have exactly 4 (yes, 4) shirts that don't cling to my stomach all of a sudden! Since we're not seeing any friends or family til 12 w I'm not going to worry about it and just flaunt it and let people think I'm chubby, haha.

I'm not planning anything solidly until we know the sexes. I've considered Curious George from PBK or maybe Paul Frank monkeys. I LOVE monkeys. If we have 2 girls though I might decide to do somethign really feminine instead.

Stretch Marks: ?I haven't found any yet, but I'm doing my best not too search for them.

Movement: ?tons!  I pretty much only feel it on one side, which concerned me, but during my u/s last week my OB told me they are both squished onto that one side.

Belly Button: totally flat

Updates and/or milestones thisweek: Well, I failed the 1 hour glucose test.  I have to do the 3 hour next Friday.

Yes, we are pretty much done with the nursery.  All of the furniture is put together, walls are painted, closets cleaned out.  Now I'm just shopping around for cute decorations.  We are sort of going with a turtle/fish theme, but just with a few touches.  I didn't want it to get cheesy.

Cravings/Aversions: ?I crave baked lays with sour cream dips. I have to eat it at least once a day, if not more, and on several occassions, it has been my meal. I have no real aversions, except I can't handle very much coffee. Maybe a cup maximum... I used to be a 5 cup girl- all decaf, all the time. The taste just isn't there for me anymore.

Updates and/or milestones thisweek: I was finally released from my RE! That was huge for me bc I feel like I have had so many problems so early and they tried to release me twice, but had to pull me back twice

We have started talking about it. We both have very simple, classic taste, with modern clean lines. Think Room & Board meets Pottery Barn. We are both against themes of any sort, and are hoping to have our bedding made if we can agree on a fabrics. I've looked at a few so far, but I don't want to get my heart set on anything until we know the sexes.

I'm 13w2d and have no stretch marks (yet!) and I'm not really showing. I don't really have any cravings or aversions at this moment, I'm just happy my m/s is easing off.

I'm entering 2nd tri this week, which I'm thrilled about and we have started telling people.

I didn't really allow myself to think about too many details until I hit the 12 week mark and now I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with everything we have to do. We live in a one bedroom apartment so in the next few months we need to move, set up the nursery, figure out what stroller to get, figure out everything else we need to take care of two little babies etc. I'm so excited but also a little anxious about getting it all done.

Congrats on entering 2nd tri Sail!  Such a huge milestone!  Don't worry...I think it's totally normal to feel overwhelmed, but you've got plenty of time.  Just start doing a little bit of research here and there.  The good thing about finding a stroller (IMO) is that there really aren't that many to choose from that will accomodate 2 infants.  Double Snap and Go seems to be the only way to go when they are little.

Family hopes

Hello everyone! We had another ultrasound today at 8weeks 2 days. Baby A measures 8w1d and baby B 8w3d. Heart rate 160s for both. Stretch marks: no belly button: normal cravings or aversions: nausea is still going strong. I absolutely do not want any hot beverages. QOTW: too early for us to make any decisions about a nursery. We are just hoping to keep these two little ones with us. I'm hoping I will get less nervous about that as the pregnancy progresses. In other news, my BFF just had her daughter this morning and she is absolutely perfect!

Movement: ?Nothing that I have noticed. But I dont think I am very perceptive about this.

Cravings/Aversions: ?Nothing much. But did crave cake, ice cream and chips on my bday on Tues. It was yum!!

 Depends on genders but no theme. We'd like to keep the walls neutral in either green or yellow depending on bedding. We'll also paint all the furniture since it's all white but different depending on who we got it from as a hand me down or how long we've had it.

Updates and/or milestones thisweek:  I hit the 34 week milestone!  :-D  C-section is scheduled for 9/24.  Can't wait!  I'm now officially on full bedrest.

Stretch Marks: ?Ugh!  Didn't get them with DS but I guess when your belly measures over 40 weeks they are unavoidable.  I have a couple and am very very depressed about it.  I don't mean to be so vain but I was proud of my stomach before.

Movement: ?All the time.  Big, hard kicks and punches.  Lots of elbows, knees, and butts sticking out everywhere too!

Cravings/Aversions: ?None.  Don't have much of an appetite anymore

Belly Button:  Outttie...again yuck

Updates and/or milestones thisweek:  I had a BPP u/s this morning.  I have to go in for them weekly now.  Everything looked great.  Both babies have plenty of fluid around them, they were practicing their movements and breathing, and their heartrates were great.

If so what colors are you thinking of using, are you doing a themed or unthemed room?  Nursery is painted a light taupe color, furniture is white, bedding is pink/brown and blue/brown.  It is the oganic jungle bedding collection from The Gap.  We used the bumpers from the collection along with some really great crib skirts from Restoration Hardware Baby that coordinate perfectly.  I am having blankets handmade using the jungle-themed organic crib sheets from the bedding collection.  Also, the window treatments are a chocolate brown as are all the other accents in the room.  It is still coming along but I love it so far.  Here are the bumpers that started the inspiration.

No real theme- I found some material that is blue, dark brown, and tan polka dots on white.  So I have painted the walls tan and will use blue as an accent.
