a ? about cupcakes from a box

you just buy regular cake mix and make them into cupcakes right?

I am sending my husband to get me cupcake mix (don't judge) and I haven't made a cupcake or a cake from a box in so long that I have no idea what box they come in. Is there a cupcake box?

I think you just use a cake mix.  I want to say it's just a different baking time.  Have him check the box.

Yes, just use cake mix.  On the back of the box it will have specific baking times for cupcakes.  YUMMY!!

Yep...just buy whatever flavor cake mix you want and the instructions and baking times for cupcakes are on the box.  You may also want to have him pick up some up the liners as well (the little paper wrappers that go in the muffin tins), they save you on clean-up time. 

Yummy....cupcakes...maybe that is what I need to cheer me up today.

haha Niki you are hysterical. Its cake mix. You can make cupcakes, round or square cake, bundt cake, etc. Make sure he reads the box - you might need eggs and vegetable oil. Enjoy!

Oh man this definately sounds like a question I would ask. lol And cupcakes do sound good...maybe I can talk DH into bringing me home one tomorrow night!
