boo! no anatomy scan after all

So my husband took off work and we drove 30 minutes to our OB's office only to find out that they made a mistake and didn't enter our appointment into the system!

And there was no way to squeeze us in because the u/s tech had left for the day.   What a bummer!!!

DH is now taking a nap to sleep off his disappointment and frustration, lying there with him made me want to cry so I thought I'd better come distract myself to avoid becoming a drama queen.

How horrible! I would be devastated too! Did they schedule you for the first available??

They squeezed us in on Friday - which is good - waiting the whole weekend would have been devastating

And they are giving us a free DVD of the ultrasound which is usually an extra cost.  They were really sweet about it and I understand mistakes like will happen.  

We had already talked about how we thought the DVD was kind of silly since no one is really interested in seeing inside my womb but us, but since its free it will be a funny thing to share with our LO someday.  =P

that's encouraging!  We'll have to show it to our nieces they might get a kick out of it.
