I'm getting tired of eating

It's hard enough to find something that sounds good to eat 3 times a day, but when I get hungry every 1-2 hours, it's becoming a full time job just to eat/snack.  Surely someone can relate.  I'm in a food rut too.  Nothing sounds good, but I'm tired of the same old thing.  What are some of your favorite snacks?  Help inspire me please.

  • I find that protein snacks help to provide fillers. Also, fruits and veggies. I too get a little bored of eating and try my best to shake things up by adding stuff like granola and yogurt to the between meals snacks. I hate that I feel nausea every two hours and that I have to eat or I'm gagging or throwing up.Confused

  • Likewise - the second I start feeling hungry - I feel gaggy and/or nauseous.  I'm eating all day long.  I'm hoping this will go away soon.

    I keep finding something different to eat.  This has been my day so far:

     

    Mini bagel & cream cheese

    Instant oatmeal & strawberries

    PB&J

    Chicken salad sandwich

    Mac & cheese

    Slice of pizza

  • You are not alone, hungry brings on nausea for me too. It really is like a job trying to plan out meals and snacks.

    I've been having:

    chocolate milk
    bagel w/ cream cheese
    fruit

    nutrigrain bar
    V8 Fusion juice

    peanuts
    fruit

    dinner- always varies

    Today:

    Cheese omelet, OJ

    Turkey burger, wheat thins

    carrots and ranch

    Four-cheese cheese itz (these are AMAZING if you haven't had them)

    and I'm really wanting to bust open my strawberries but DH will be heading home soon=DINNER!

  • I know exactly how you feel!!!

    Here's my day:

    oatmeal with apples and walnuts

    luna bar

    greek yogurt with granola and cinnamon

    whole wheat wrap with turkey, tomatoes, laughing cow cheese and black beans

    handful of pretzels dipped in ranch 

    sugar free pudding up with a spoonful of coolwhip

    AND I AM STILL HUNGRY AND DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT TO EAT!!  Nothing satisfies!!

  • So glad to see someone else feels the same way! The last few days, Eggo waffles have tasted pretty good; either plain, with peanut butter or with strawberry preserves and butter. Cheez-its have been a descent standby for me, I can't do saltines anymore. Golden Grahams either dry or with milk is good too. I've also been craving peaches! I worry that I'm not getting enough to drink though. Plain water makes me nauseous (make that more nauseous); crystal light is better, but I feel bad drinking a lot of things with fake sugar in them. I can't do watered down apple juice anymore.
