I am acting like a mother already

I had my anatomy scan this morning followed by my 20 week appointment with my doctor. So we were at the hospital for over a couple of hours. While we are in the waiting room DH mentions that he should have eaten something this morning and he is really hungry. So I ask him if he wants an apple? Or some graham crackers? Or some bottled water? I have all of these things in my purse. He says he is ok, but I insist. He told me I sounded like my mother! I guess I am a pushy mom already

LOL, I love it.  I'm the same way, "Oh you need a bandaid?  I think I have one!"

Hehe... just wait! I have a big brown bag that I absolutely adore, and I called it my "mommy bag". It's filled with snacks, a notepad and pens, quarters, bandaids, neo-to-go, hair bands, sanitizer, plastic baggies, medicine, etc. After a while you realize that it's much less stressful to carry a slightly heavy bag than it is to deal with someone whining because they are hurt, bored, or hungry... and yes, that includes my husband!
