T&P Needed for FIL

Okay girls, this isn't really baby related, but it's needed.  We found out a couple months ago that FIL has cancer.  He is going in for surgery in about 20 minutes to remove lymph nodes and tumor.  I don't have any time left off work this year, so I can't be at the hospital, but DH is there with MIL.  I am so ansy I can't sit still, I feel like my skin is crawling.  I'm trying not to stress out but it's not easy.  I know I couldn't do anything if I were there, but just to be there for him.  MIL's biggest fear is that he won't be here in April when our precious LO arrives.  My father isn't a part of my life, so he will be the only grandpa LO will know...and here come the tears!  Oh my!!!

T&P for a successful surgery...we couldn't live without him!  TIA!!!

I'm so sorry for what you and DH are going through right now. I know the worry and not being able to be there are hard for you. Try to stay positive - is he at Barnes Jewish in STL? We have some dear friends that have received their treatment there, so I'm sure he is receiving the best care too.

Thank you girls so much for all the t&p.  I posted a quick update...surgery took 6 hours but went well, he is in recovery and we got to see him for a few minutes.  Got a smile, thumbs up and I love you!
