Xmas Card Ideas

I know this is way early, however, I figure if I start thinking about ideas now it will help later when I don't feel like doing it!  I love making cards- I make our own Christmas cards each year.  

Usually I find some cute papers at the scrapbook store, some coordinating ribbon, take a funny snapshot of DH and I, and layer it all together.  

Last year we took individual pictures of the 2 of us spelling out the letters with our bodies:  J..O..Y.. on the front of the card.   Loved it.  Totally cheesy, but awesome at the same time.  

So now, was wondering if anyone else makes their own cards, and if so have you thought of any creative ideas?  I know I want to use a photo of us- just need to think of something clever...

DH wants to photoshop a US pic with a little santa hat on the LO. It's funny but not sure I am gonna go for it.

Photoshop pictures of your heads on Elf bodies or something cute like that. I make my own cards too, but I stamp stuff. Next year we'll take a family picture and put it in, but since LO won't be here yet I'm sticking to the regular stamped cards.

Not that I would.. but still I got a chuckle from this one I found by googling "christmas card pregnant".  hehehe

That one is funny. I'm planning on doing something like that at Hallowe'en. Painting my stomach orange and then painting a face on it. I'm not going out in public like that at all, but just for a funny photo.
