Update:  About two weeks we found out that the babies are both girls

QOTD:  After finding out we're having girls, I started buying a few things.  Until I get further confirmation though, I'm too nervous to order the cribs or bedding (since I'm looking at very feminine things).

Update:  We found out last week that we are having a boy!

QOTD:  I hope to order furniture and bedding within the next month but DH is being a poopy head about it and wants to wait till were a little farther along.

I started picking up things around 10/12 weeks, but just started really shopping since we found out its a girl

UPDATE:  Not too much going on except I passed my one hour glucose test and the kicking is getting crazy! I love to feel her!

Holy twins in April!

QOTD: I started shopping after our anatomy scan at 18 weeks and confirmation that we were having a girl.  Mostly room decor and clothes purchases so far  My mom and some of my friends have gone a little nuts with the shopping . . . she will be one stylish little lady!  Janie and Jack has been cleared out!  This weekend we're picking out paint colors and will probably buy her crib.

QOTD: I started to but things at 19 1/2 weeks when we found out we are a having a girl.

Update: She is moving around like crazy, I can even see kicks from the outside when looking at my belly

Could I be added please.  I am just now moving over from the IF board i wanted to wait until i had my second ultrasound.  Which i had this morning and my little tator tots are measuring right on schedule.  baby A heart rate is 156 and baby B heart rate is 176 i am so excited and scrared at the same time.  My EDD is April 12 2011.

QOTD:  I will not purchase anything until we find out the genders of my little tator tots.

Update:   I am starting to feel some slight movement, love it!  I have my Anatomy scan on September 9th.  YIPPEE!!

 

QOTD:  I have started recently-we purchased a Britax car seat on sale.  Then we just bought the glider/ottoman for a birthday present for me.  And I bought a cute sleeper.  I will be doing a little shopping when we hopefully find out the gender next week!

No updates - just excitedly awaiting our LO's arrival!!

QOTW: Ummm, yes! I'm obsessed. I have gotten her a few cute outfits, some blankets, learning toys, a shopping cart cover & a bunch of other misc. stuff! In addition to that, my sister & friends have either bought or given me other clothes too. And my mom gave us a bunch of gently used blankets & toys. We still have a few baby showers, so I'm trying to stop buying stuff b/c we have a teeny tiny house & I have no clue where all of this stuff is going to go! We have also bought most fo the major stuff for her nursery - it's nearly done! Lots of nursery updates & pics in my WOD blog.

Update: I was finally released from my RE yesterday and have an early u/s scheduled with my OB on the 7th and my first appt on the 16th! I am so excited

QOTD: I will probably wait until we know the genders. If I see some cute gender neutral things I may pick something up, but definitely not BEFORE 14/15 weeks! I am so excited to start shopping though!

QOTD: I have been buying things that I know we'll need from sale sites (babysteals, baby earth, zulily, mamabargains) and we are getting TONS of hand me downs. We'll register for gender neutral gear in the next few weeks since we are having and early shower and we'll add the gender specific stuff when we find out on Oct. 8th.

QOTD:  I think around 20 weeks.  We are getting stuff left and right now!  This is the fun part!

Update:  not much here.  I'm exhausted and pulled a muscle in my back - but I know it is all worth it in the end.

QOTD: We have bought some books and I bought a snuggly lil gender neutral onsie at Carters the other day. We are still debating about finding out the gender..........we were definitely team green in the beginning, but I am having trouble finding bedding/ideas that I love, so we might find out. We aren't sure yet.

Family hopes

Could you please add me??? Family Hopes. My due date is 4/12/11 with twins to fit in with all the other April chickies. I have my 8 week ultrasound tomorrow. I have an RN appointment with my OB on Friday because my RE likes to overlap. I will see my OB next week Wednesday. QOTW: too early to buy anything yet. We have scouted out the cost of a few things to start preparing.

Update:  I thought this LO was more mellow than DS1, but boy was I wrong.  He's already beating me up on the inside.  I guess my boys just like to kick!

QOTW:  I already have a lot of stuff from DS1 that I can use, but there are some things (like new bedding) that I definitely want to buy.  If I could make a decision on the bedding I would buy it now, but I've been stuck between two sets...or even not doing a set at all... Can't make up my mind.  As for other things, I've bought one outfit, but I really need to start thinking about the more practical stuff.

Update:  I just realized that next month we will be having our babies!!

QOTD: I started buying stuff off CL at about 12 weeks (swings, bouncers etc) so we didn't have to buy everything at once.  It has been a huge money saver.  I think we are pretty set for now.  Tomorrow our work is throwing us a diaper and book shower so that should be fun. We have enough NB diapers but need the bigger sizes now (our basement looks like we own stock in diapers).

Update - I am in the middle of the 4 week wait between appointments, and it is killing me!!! What I wouldn't do for an at home doppler right now! But in a week and a half we will have our next appointment and find out if this little one is a boy or a girl

QOTD - I think I will do some shopping after we find out if this LO is male or female

Congrats to those that had their babies!!  How exciting it must be to hold your LO!!  

QOTD:   Probably not until I know everything is good and the pregnancy is progressing normally and I feel comfortable about it.  It seems like every time I think f purchasing anything, the doc does not give me reassuring news ... 

BTW:  my EDD will be 4/20/2011 (God willing!!)

QOTW:  I don't think I'll start buying things until after the anatomy scan.  I should be able to have that right before Thanksgiving, so hitting up the after Thanksgiving Day sales sounds like a great idea!
