I bought this little finger toothbrush kit with baby toothpaste. I do his two little teeth and then just rub it over his gums. It's a challenge to not get bit though.
I need to make brushing her teeth a part of at least her evening routine. She has two teeth now and I want to take good care of her teeth. I need to put her toothbrush in the bathroom which will help me remember. I bathe her every night and if the toothbrush is in the bathroom it'll be easy to brush her teeth before or during her bath.
Once she has a a full set of teeth and/or is eating a consistent diet of different foods, I'll probably brush her teeth twice a day.
I do. I have been doing it with a wash cloth since she got her first tooth. Now I have a Razz baby brush. I rub her teeth with it and then I let her chew on the brush for a few minutes.
In the morning and evening I smear a bit of Milk Teeth toothpaste on his toothbrush and I will move it across his two bottom teeth for about 30 seconds, then I leave him with the toothbrush to chew on and "brush his own" while I brush mine. I'm hoping it will benefit him to see DH and me do it and eventually he will start making the motions on his own.
I always rubbed her gums with a warm washcloth before she had teeth. Now that she has 2 teeth I have a little baby brush with some baby toothpaste and I brush them in the morning before I take her to the sitter. She seems to enjoy it..I think it feels good on her gums
