Gosh this is really embarrassing. I know everyone sweats at the gym but I've recently started running on the treadmill and by the time I'm done I feel and look like I've wet myself. I always wear black to try to hide it but it's not working.
Any suggestions on what I can do to prevent this? Would baby powder work or maybe a different material pants?
Armpit sweat is one thing but this is really gross
Thanks for any input.
Re: NPR and TMI if you go to a gym
I wear Adidas cropped pants and Nike running shorts that have wicking material that absorbs sweat. I never workout in cotton because it grosses me out. Adidas, Nike, Athleta, Puma, Reebok all make workout clothes that wick.
Look for workout clothes that wick sweat; you shouldn't get any sweat marks on black clothes. I get some on my shirts that are blue, but I really don't care.

I have to laugh at this a bit bc I was JUST discussing this with my friends at the park -- crotch sweat SUCKS!
For major workouts (in the heat, no less), I have good quality pants (e.g. Lucy's) and I haven't had any problems. My problem is everyday wear when it's hot. Regular panties just don't help. The H&F board just posted about underwear for incontinence and I guess, sweat. I have to go and find that post.
I would not use powder -- I think studies (I think) have shown that it is not safe long term.
here is the underwear. It's for incontinence but I feel like it could help with sweat? not sure. I'm thinking about it for everyday wear. There is also 'wicking' underwear, etc. you can get.

Here is the Propel Knee Pant from Lucy's -- LOVE THEM and I've never had sweat show:

I also have these in blue: no sweat has shown through and don't wear panties with these!

Aw, thanks for the links!
I never ever liked to run, but I'm starting to like it more and more. I just don't want to look like a hot mess when I'm done
