We want to know the sexes already!

My DH and I are dieing to know the sexes of our twins. Unfortunately, we're only 9w pregnant. My mom was telling me that females and males supposedly have different HB's (one faster or higher pitched, the other is slower and deeper). True or false?

(Last week at our appt. we heard their HB's and one was fast and one was deep. We'd LOVE to have one of each!!)

well, you have a 33% chance of having one of each, so maybe.

(my boys had high "girl" heartrates the whole time i was pregnant.)

With DS#1 and now with DS #2 and DS #3, we had high "girl" HB too.  Sorry owt.

That is a old wives tale.  My mom told me after learning the heartbeats that I was having two girls.... wrong I am having two boys.

Both of our babies heart rates were exactly the same the first two ultra sounds.  One of my friends was convinced because of that and the rate they were both girls.  It turned out to be a boy and a girl.

Now the heart rates are very close usually within a few beats of the each other.  They are fun wives tails but I wouldn?t go out and buy pink or blue based on this.

This is an old wives tale. Our babies heart rates were always either the exact same or within 2-3 beats. We have one of each.

I was dying to know as well....it's hard to wait!  Once we found out they were identical and we were getting two of something I took that intelligender pee test.  Kinda just for fun, not totally serious (Dh thought I was nuts!) but it came back Girls!  Then at 16 week u/s the teach said if she had to guess she'd say girls.  We didn't get a true "It's girls" until 21 weeks!  GL!
