...it's going to be a very long 9 months.
Background: I had high blood pressure my entire 1st pregnancy and was on meds, was diagnosed with gestational diabeties at 24 weeks and toward the end of my pregnancy BP meds stopped working and was borderline pre-e.
So, last night at 10:30 PM I started getting really short of breath. I was having a lot of trouble breathing. I felt like I wasn't getting enough air. After about an hour of this I took my BP which was 123/102 - which is dangerously high - so went to the ER.
They were worried I might have a blood clot. They hooked my up to oxygen which helped a lot. They did an EKG, ultrasound of my legs and abdomen, and lots of blood work - everything came back normal and they didn't find a blood clot. After several hours my breathing and BP returned to normal and they have no idea what caused it. I was released at 4 AM. I'm glad everything is ok but I wish I knew what caused it.
Oh and the m/s started on Friday and I am in a constant state of nasuea 24/7. I feel like death.
