Play-doh isn't dangerous to eat right??

I look over and see B take a bite of something that was in her hand. Didn't think twice about it. She did it again...I get better look and its play-doh. Barf. Seriously she has been playing with play-doh over a year now, and never had ate it, why all of a sudden!!!

Paige survived when she ate it - I think it is non-toxic if it is playdoh brand. DH sent me a pic of Paige and said she must have fallen and she was bleeding bad from her mouth.  I get home and it is a weird red for blood - I look at the ground and see she has been playing with red playdoh - I put two and two together.
