I feel like I'm the only one not doing something more sophisticated and modern. I just have always hard my heart set on something like disney. Anyone else? I need some ideas!
We did. Our office was a light sage green which we kept as the nursery. I didn't go all out pooh, but I have some decals on the walls, and have pooh sheets. Some of the baskets on our changing table are lined in pooh material too. I'm already excited to re-decorate though now that the boys have true likes... I can't wait for the "toddler room."
If it makes you feel better, I didn't decorate at all. The babies were born in January. We moved out of state in June. I didn't see the point in decorating when we'd be moving. Now we've moved into a rental home for one year. I'll likely do something soon, but it won't be elaborate like some of the nurseries I've seen. I say go for what you want! I've seen a lot of cute classic Pooh stuff.
thank you both! I'm not sure why I'm stressing about it. I think the toddler rooms will definitely be way more fun since like you said they can tell you what they want and what their interests are. I think I'll stick to a few decals and keep everything else neutral or get some other things that compliment it. THANKS!
I did. I love having their room in Winnie the Pooh. I felt the same way at first, but now I don't mind at all. Carter's just came out with a bumble bee bedding set and accesories that can be used w/ Winnie the Pooh IMO.
