HCG not doubling then all the sudden doubling. Any insight?

8/23 - 99

8/25 - 165.6

8/27 - 229.9

8/30 - 514!!

As of tomorrow I will be 5 weeks. I started out with levels not close to doubling. 67% increase, 30% increase and now 95% increase! Going Thursday for another test and an ultrasound. Has anyone else experienced this?

That happened to me in my 2nd pregnancy. Unfortunately it was a false sense of security to have the beta suddenly increase appropriately. I had a blighted ovum. So the beta skyrocketed and kept increasing despite the fact that only the placenta formed. There was no fetus. Best of luck. Just be prepared that they may or may not see much on the ultrasound Thursday. I will say T&P for you and hope for the best.
