Isn't it frustrating? I get people coming in my office throughout the day asking common sense questions. Sometimes I just stare at them and want to say, "Just think about your question before running in here every 2 seconds to ask me". Grrrrrr!!!

This was the first question of the day I got from someone who at the end of day on Friday came in and asked what percentage of our members have email.  I looked at him and said did you bother to look in the database because I know I have that statistic listed.  His answer "no I figured you would just know".  I looked at him and said we have 10,000+ members at any given time and they are constantly changing things like email.  I have no idea at this very moment which ones have an actual email unless I look, which you could do.  And then he said well since you're already there could you look for me.  All the while he knows I am dealing with a huge problem with one of our database programs that is super time sensitive.  I just looked at him and said sure I am not doing anything important let me go look those numbers up for you.  I really wanted to kill him, but he is the boss's pet so that isn't an option.  Plus I don't wnat to go to jail.  :-)

So frustrating, but they are everywhere!  I actually saw a bumper sticker a couple of months ago that said something like "God must really like stupid people b/c he made so many of them."  Does that mean we're supposed to like them too???  I don't know if I can.
