How was your first drop off at daycare?  Hope everything went well!

Aw thanks girl for thinking of us!

It went well.  Getting there took a bit just getting all of Amelia's stuff in order, but DH was there to help this morning, unexpectedly.  We just found out he got laid off this morning so that kind of took the blow away from Amelia going to daycare.  Crazy timing huh?  I did forget her bottles in the car and luckily, they asked for them before I left.  The center was not very crowded today with kids so that's nice.  I think it is just Amelia and one or two other kids in her class today.  Work doesn't know it...hahaha, but somehow I found a way to watch her on their kiddie cams (we don't allow streaming video).  So she is happily napping right now.  I also called at lunch and they said she has been pleasant as can be and doing quite well.  I am not sure what I was expecting to hear...I mean she is too young to really care that we are away from her all day and she is a pretty adaptable child.  But yes, I did cry at the center and in the car ride to work....haha, I did expect that!

I am so sorry to hear about your DH. I hope he finds an even better job quickly! 

I'm glad your drop off wasn't too hard!  I know, even though I had left DS before and he was only in DC part time at first, I still cried my eyes out.  So glad you didn't leave with the bottles and that you can watch her online!  And it sounds like she slept and ate, etc - that's a relief.
