Hi Girls,
I have decided to hold off on treatements until next spring - but I figured we can try on our own with the pre seed and fertility blend vitamins - etc.
I was told I have a blood clotting disorder and need to see a hemologist before I start treatments again.
I do not know what kind of disorder I have - which may make is next question impossible to answer but I thought I would throw it out there.
Can you try on your on with a blood clotting disorder - is it a bad idea? What if there is a crazy chance I get pregnant - would it cause another miscarriage?? So I go see the hemologist even though I am not cycling and see what is going on with me??

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Ditto wormie. Besides, it will be good to know what clotting disorder you have for your overall health, in case of an accident or something.
I would see a hematologist first if that's what your RE was going to have you do before starting treatments again, just to be safe. I think it would be good to know what clotting issues you have before TTC again.
I supposedly have 3 clotting issues which were diagnosed after my 2nd loss. I have heterozygous (not as worrisome as homozygous) Factor II/prothrombin mutation, MTHFR, and some portion of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. As a result, I'm on baby aspirin and folic acid for the rest of my life, since it raises my chance of getting blood clots in my legs or lungs. After a gestational sac is confirmed on u/s, I'll start Heparin 2x/day during pg.
Good luck!!
I've done a lot of reading about women with blood clotting disorders, and I have read a lot about women trying, and as soon as they find out they are pregnant, they begin treatment (Lovenox, etc).
I would go to the hematologist first, though, to figure it all out first.
GL and I'll be thinking of you!?
I have tried a bunch on my own and have a history of a blood clot in my leg and I have a clotting disorder. For the clotting I take a daily baby aspirin and Fabb tabs (high dose folic w/ b vitamins). I also take fish oil which can help to thin your blood. With my last two pregnancies I began using Lovenox when I found out that I was pregnant.
I recently saw a maternal fetal medicine doc who suggested I begin using Lovenox after I ovulate instead of waiting until I find out that I am pregnant so I started that this cycle.
I would suggest either seeing a hematologist and/or a maternal fetal medicine doctor since they will know a lot about clotting disorders and treatments for them. The mfm I saw was more helpfult to me than the hematologist.

Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
