Progesterone causing cramping?

I am on progesterone vag caps (200mgs 4X a day). I feel pretty okay on them, but last night I started having a bit of cramps. What the heck??

I am freaking out that I am going to get my period or something.

Is it normal to get cramps while on progesterone???

I am slightly achy and cramping during my whole IVF cycle, so I can't pinpoint exactly what is causing it.

I would think it is fairly normal.  If you are having hard cramps, then I would be concerned.  My cramps are fairly mild - they feel like the ones I get just before AF - not the hard cramps I get during AF.

On progesterone, anything is normal. Bleeding, cramps, headaches, breast changes, acid reflux....etc. I hope it lets up soon though! Side effects are no fun.

I have weird cramping - almost like a dull ache for most of the day.  I am on crinone 2 x's a day.  All the "research" I've done says it is a normal s/e (I was hoping it was that I was feeling implantation...ha!)

Don't freak out! Prog supps are definitely known to cause cramping . They do for me every time.

Thanks, girls. I feel better about it. They aren't bad, terrible, I-need-a-pain-reliever type cramps, but they are there.?

I am on crinone and today is the worst so far (about a week on them)... headache and "just before AF" crampy feeling. oh, and SUPER tired! I wasn't going to POAS but I'm not sure I can hold out until Beta on Thursday.
