do you think Peyton is a girl name or a boy name?

because i just seen my friend is naming her son Peyton..

i just don't like it for a boy..it just reminded me of ONE TREE HILL Peyton.

and Peyton Manning..and I don't like the Colts..lol

I think it's a bad name for a boy or a girl. I think it's pretty popular for both sexes these days so I wouldn't be surprised to see a boy or a girl with that name. I don't find it feminine at all though.

I prefer it for a boy over for a girl, but I don't like the name at all.

Peyton Manning is not a bad association, in  my opinion!  I am not a Colts fan, but he is such a good guy and has great comedic timing!

With that said, I don't love the name.  But it works for a boy or a girl.

Unisex, but leaning toward where Ashley, Tracy, Lynn, Shannon, and Taylor have gone...firmly to the girl side. 

 

I have a colleague who named her daughter Peightyn. You know, because it is unique.
