Q-cap question- (saif/ticker)

I start Repronex soon and it does not come with a Q-cap. I can buy them from my pharmacy (I think). My question is are they worth it?

I have extra sharps so that is not a problem, I just wanted to know if it really makes the mixing easier?

Thanks ladies!

Re: Q-cap question- (saif/ticker)

  • I've mixed my Menopur with a Q-cap and a needle and it was pretty much the same both ways for me.

  • If you've never reconstituted meds before, or are nervous doing it - they are probably really helpful.

I found them to be a little annoying - but I'm used to mixing DH's meds.  Once you get the hang of using needles, it's just as easy.

  • DH did all the mixing and i think he liked using the qcap but when we ran out just did it w/ needles.

    It's up to you.
