Smoking Neighbor Vent

Grrrr, it's a beautiful day, and I want to keep my windows/doors open.  However, every time he comes outside to light up, the smell comes through the front door.  I'll keep it closed now.  Annoying!  PS I live in a townhouse.

I just complained about this on another board. DH and I were in bed the other night and I could smell it coming through our window. I swear the person smoked a whole pack while out there. Its so annoying and frustrating. It sucks that when its so beautiful out we can't enjoy it because some people would like to give themselves cancer.

Our neighbours' house is like two feet away from ours, so we always have to smell their cigaretter smoke.  It really annoys me.

My neighbor does the same but get this she is 30 weeks pregnant... I horrifies me.... she said she has cut back from 2 packs a day to a half in her defense..

It does suck and I can't imagine having to smell someone smoking right now with my morning sickness, but they have the right to be smoking out there even if it sucks. I'm sure they're not trying to do it to piss you off, they're just addicted. You should go and talk to them and see if you could make a plan about when they smoke or where they smoke, it's tempting to get passive aggressive but that won't solve your problem.
