So, I am hosting my SIL's baby shower with my mom and her mom in September.  My name is on the invitation, and I'm in charge of coming up with games.  But, I just found out today that DH planned a surprise trip for our anniversary to San Francisco.  He won't give me any of the details of the trip, but he did say I will not be in TX on Sept. 18th, the date of the shower (which he didn't know about).  Guess I won't be at the shower I'm hosting.  I do feel really bad that I'm going to miss it, but, at the same time, I can't help but think maybe God was looking out for me on this one....

    Your DH is awesome. A trip to San Francisco + getting out of a baby shower is a definite win-win.

    What an awesome man.  You need to buy something sexy and lacy that's special for him.
