The thermometer is such a kill-joy

I'm on CD24 and currently taking 200mg prometrium since my LP is short and my progesterone is always low low low.  And I've been charting.  Well... my temperature went from 98.1 yesterday (high for me), to a disappointing 97.3 this morning. 

My conclusion is that pregnant= NO.  But that's based on on this morning's temp only.... and I haven't had any spotting or AF or anything.  Am I correct in my pessimism or is there still hope?

    I thought I remember when charting to look more for a pattern and not pay such close attention to one temp.  There are so many factors that can play into one funky temp!  Good Luck!

    I agree with previous poster, it might just be a fluke.  I hope it is.  Do you have a beta scheduled?

    No beta scheduled.  I'm just going to POAS in about five days and see what happens.

    I wouldn't worry too much about one temp reading.  Almost every month that I've charted, I have at least one or two readings that don't make sense and they don't affect the overall pattern.  Good luck!!!
