Thinking of bringing my RE something from a bakery tomorrow

I bake a lot, but I know some people are weird about eating homemade stuff sometimes. My RE is amazing. When I was in the hospital in Jan. for 10 days, he was there every day and called me every day. When I was in his OR getting drained every day, he was amazing and sweet and kind. He answers all of my emails. He called me for over an hour back in Oct. when my cycle was cancelled. He dealt with my insurance directly when I had a problem. I could go on and on. His staff in the OR was amazing to me in the past.?

I would like to bring them something tomorrow. Maybe cookies or something like that. There is a fantastic bakery nearby my house that I would go to.

Is it weird to bring that tomorrow to the ET? ?

  • I don't think that's weird at all. We like it when patients bring us stuff at the office I work at. It's very thoughtful. I have been trying to come u with an idea of what to take my RE's office as a treat since they have been so nice to me.

    GL tomorrow!!!!!

  • I think that is so sweet...I am sure if anything homemade is sitting around in a staff room or something, people would love it! It's a kind gesture and why not start the day of positive!!

  • It sounds like you have a pretty good relationship with your RE, so I'm sure he would totally appreciate homemade goodies.  Hmmm - Maybe I'll try to show up at your RE's office tomorrow.....

  • I don't think so! I actually brought my clinic staff cookies from a bakery that were shaped liked a syringe - I thought it was really cute/funny!

  • That is very sweet of you and I'm sure they'd love it!  I love when patients and their families bring in goodies for us @ the hospital.  Good luck today on your ET!!!!
