Cloth Diapering

Rec your cloth wipes

What are some good cloth wipes brands, where can I find some? Or should I make my own? Im ok at sewing but not too familiar with fabric types, what type would be best to use? Thanks!!

Re: Rec your cloth wipes

  • i use washcloths, the cheap kind from target--circo brand, or gerber brand.

  • We just use the cheap Circo 6 packs of washcloths for DD's wipes. They work great and we can use them in her wipe warmer, too!

  • They are SUPER easy to sew. I used these instructions: https://www.ehow.com/how_4452620_make-cloth-wipes.html

I made mine out of those useless tiny flannel receiving blankets that everyone gave us a ton of when DD was born. But you can also use store-bought flannel, terrycloth, etc. I'm about to try making some more out of an old polo shirt of DH's that has a hole in it -- it's a slightly bumpy jersey-type material that I think might work well for scrubbing poo off!
