Saw your post about the terb you took.  Sorry to be nosy, but have you tried Procardia yet?  I started having horrible contractions around 24 weeks and my OB started me on 30mg ER 1x a day and it helped so much.  Then I ended up in L&D at 28 weeks dilated to 1cm with contractions again and they gave me the terb shot, it worked but side effects were awful!  My OB decided to up my dose of Procardia to 2x daily and I have been so much more comfortable since.  He also prescribed the Terb pills on an as-needed basis but I havne't had the need to take them since the other stuff is working so well.  I also haven't had any yucky side-effects from the Procardia.  I hope you are feeling better soon and sorry again to be nosy.
Dx with severe endometriosis. DS#1 conceived with Met and TI. TTC#2 for 2.5 yrs. Dx 2nd IF. 4 clomid cycles, 2 IUIs, Finally IVF#1 w/ICSI worked for us! twins born 35w3d. Unexpected total hysterectomy 6/11. Now on the HRT train.

    Thank you!! I am going to talk to my OB about another option at my next appointment.  I was so miserable last night.  The thing is though, with the terb shot I got at L&D, I felt fine! They did give me a touch of morphine to take the edge off, though.  And obviously that is not something I am comfortable doing on a regular basis.

    But I hardly slept at all last night with the pill.  I am feeling better now, but if I have contractions again tonight, I don't think I can force myself to take that dang pill!!

    I hope she prescribes me Procardia and I can only take the terb in an emergency.
