moved the due date

When I went into meet the doctor when I thought I was pregnant she estemated off of my last period (easter weekend) that I was due January 10, 2011. We did not have an early ultrasound (not sure if this is because I was 8 weeks preggo or not).  So, I went in Tuesday for my 20 week ultrasound. I should have been 20 weeks the day before.  When the tech measured the femur and the head I noticed the screen was saying around 17 weeks.  The nurse called yesterday and sure enough they moved my due date to Jan. 30th. Yay me...Kinda sucks that I thought I was halfway and now I'm not but the baby looked good and was healthy so I am not too concerned. My little sister was a small baby and when her due date arrived the doctor told my mom she had another month but she had her the next day so I figure if the baby comes a couple of weeks early it should still be fine maybe it is just a small baby. So now I may have a January or February baby. Bad news is that my husband has to go out of town for work around the beginning of February.

My due date is Jan 29 and my husband will be gone the begining of Feb too! It will be fine though. At least your little peanut is growing and doing well. Those due dates are just estimates anyway. Welcome to my end of the month!

yeah. I always say it is just an estimate anyway. my neice was born 6 days over her due date. I'm in Kansas and my husband will have to be in Texas. The good thing is that my mom is only 2 hours away and can come stay with me but I am not going to let anyone else see the baby until daddy does.
