so since quite a few of us are in the 2ww let's laugh at what complete fools it turns us into.  i lose the ability to reason and can be quite irrational

 I'm not in the 2ww currently but will be in about two weeks. I had many so I thought I would share.

1.  what is the strangest thing you've done to get a BFP duing 2ww? The only thing crazy that I can think of is that H and I spent about 40 bucks in FRER tests last cycle. I would test in the morning and test at night to make sure the line was still there. We didn't care how much money we spent either.

2.  have you done something or has something happened that convinced you, you messed everything up? Yes. Last cycle I was really really sick with a head cold. I cried one night cause I was like "omg I don't think I can do this"..meaning be pg and be sick. The cycle failed . To this day I think it's because I thought that...ovb that's crazy but I can't help it. Oh also every time we tell his parents that it worked it fails.

3.  if you POAS, when do you usually start? about 9dp3dt

4.  do you talk to your belly/embies? umm...we talk to the pic of the embies mostly.

5.  any funny 2ww stories you'd like to share. hmm..can't think of any really.

1.  what is the strangest thing you've done to get a BFP duing 2ww? Hmmm... how's this... DH and I are not religious, but a friend of mine (well, actually DH's friend) just got back from studying abroad and brought us back this white powder from the Milk Grotto in Bethlehem. It is a sacred powder that is supposed to help with infertility. You are supposed to mix the tiniest little bit with a small glass of milk and then share it with your husband. My husband and I prayed together the first night we took it and continue to take it every night. I'm definitely not saying it is strange to pray, but it is strange for us given that isn't something we would normally do.

2.  have you done something or has something happened that convinced you, you messed everything up? Um... yup! See my earlier post about running 20 steps and panicking that I shook my embryos lose. Sigh...

3.  if you POAS, when do you usually start? I don't normally POAS, but I'm strongly thinking about it this cycle.

4.  do you talk to your belly/embies? My dear Wormsie recommended these meditation mp3s that I listen to every night before I go to bed, so while I'm not actually talking to the embryos, I do put my hands on my belly and imagine them growing in my belly while I listen.

5.  any funny 2ww stories you'd like to share My husband is usually trying to be realistic about whether this will work. In the first two IVFs, he would tell me to not get my hopes up. Now, he is cracking me up because he wants to start shopping for a minivan and was talking to me about starting to increase my daily calorie count to prepare for pregnancy. He's actually being optimistic instead of realistic for this cycle, and that gives me hope.

1.  what is the strangest thing you've done to get a BFP duing 2ww?  Oh wow, I've done a lot of strange things...I don't even know where to start!

2.  have you done something or has something happened that convinced you, you messed everything up?  I got into an argument during my IVF#1 2ww w/ someone on this board (only argument I've ever gotten in here w/ anyone) and was convinced the adreneline rush affected implantation.

3.  if you POAS, when do you usually start?  I don't, I hate POAS

4.  do you talk to your belly/embies?  Yes

5.  any funny 2ww stories you'd like to share  I wish I could have more humor about the 2ww, but even the sound of it paralyzes me w/ fear...

2.  have you done something or has something happened that convinced you, you messed everything up? forgot to start my progesterone or my vitamin or drank too much at a wedding

3.  if you POAS, when do you usually start? prior to cycyling i would test on day 33. my cycles were 32 days on the dot. now 11dpIUI

5.  any funny 2ww stories you'd like to share? i've made count down chains like i used to do when i counted down till christmas.

Hello!  I hope you don't mind me replying, because I'm not in my 2ww yet, but hopefully I will be there Friday or Sunday!

1.  what is the strangest thing you've done to get a BFP duing 2ww?  I'm planning on sitting with my iPad on my stomach for hours during the day with soft spa and classical music playing.  I know it's weird...I did the same thing when I was stimming to help my follies "relax and grow".  I'm also seriously not planning on moving around much for a week.  Thank goodness we have a SUPER comfy bed and couch.2.  have you done something or has something happened that convinced you, you messed everything up?  I hope I won't!3.  if you POAS, when do you usually start?  I am not planning on POAS.  I say this now, but I'm really trying to stick to my guns.  I won't even allow any pee sticks in the house 4.  do you talk to your belly/embies?  Oh, I know I will.

5.  any funny 2ww stories you'd like to share  Not yet...but hopefully I may have some soon!

1.  what is the strangest thing you've done to get a BFP duing 2ww?  Not really strange but DH is in "daddy mode".  He's looking for a bigger house and he bought a bigger, "safer" car for me.  He gets mad if someone smokes around me and makes sure there are lots of pregnant friendly foods in the house.

2.  have you done something or has something happened that convinced you, you messed everything up?  All the time!  I've been sick so I'm convinced it's ruining this cycle.  One of the dogs jumped on my stomach the other night and I was convinced it ruined this cycle.  Then I start to think my constant worrying and stressing is ruining things....it's a vicious cycle...

3.  if you POAS, when do you usually start?  I try really hard not to!

5.  any funny 2ww stories you'd like to share  Last month's cycle I made DH hide all of the HPTs and told him not to give them to me but the day of my beta I decided I wanted to POAS but he wouldn't give them to me (this is why I had him hide them) so I ran around the house in my underwear ransacking the house for test sticks while DH stood back and laughed.  He said I looked like a crack whore looking for a fix.

2.  have you done something or has something happened that convinced you, you messed everything up? took prometrium pill late one day by 3 hours....I'm like GOSH now if I do get BFP the baby will not stick!

4.  do you talk to your belly/embies? I don't but I'm holding my lower ab when I get out of bed "as if"

5.  any funny 2ww stories you'd like to share.. although I don't need a new one... I was perusing ofc catalog for a new chair that will fit my pregnant belly (fingers and toes crossed)
